Overview
The User Registration and Login System that I have provided code for here is very simple, yet effective. Given minimal knowledge of PHP it should help most users integrate it with current software and allow them to add a safe and secure way for users to access their system. I left out key features in this tutorial as I felt they deserved a second and possible third part, such as adding reCaptcha to the registration and login form as well as the ability to stay logged in through Cookies. Since this was a simple tutorial and those items are not simple in themselves, we will leave them for another part to this tutorial. The only request I have if this tutorial helped you, please link to it so that it can help others. Thanks!
For ease of use you can download the full script in a .zip format from Slunked – User Registration and Login System. Happy Scripting!

Thanks!

Nice simple Tutorial. You might want to know however that the link for the zip file points to http://www.slunked.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/user-registration-login-tut_slunked.com and this gives a 404 error.
